For celebration of the millennium, we have renovated our guest rooms with the design of a famous French designer - Jean Philippe Heitz.

Mr. Jean Philippe Heitz is one of the most talented designers in the world. Born and educated in France, he received his bachelor's degree in architecture. As the designer for the West Palm Beach Designing Affairs Company of Florida of the United States, he has been appointed as the chief designer to conceptualise the interior design of the Grand Hyatt in Shanghai. Mr. Heitz never treats design as work, but has continued to enjoy the challenge of creating, designing innovative styles and always chooses all the materials in his designs by himself carefully. His design work combines the East and the West, the classic and the modern culture. His work is not only appreciative of life but is also full of cultural elements.
